RELUNG
Niches (niche) in ecology refers to the unique position occupied by a species particularby the physical range of the occupied and the role it performed in their communities. This concept describes a proper way of an organism to align himself with his surroundings.Habitat is the exposure point of an organism can be found, while the niche is a complete descriptions of how an organism related to the physical and biological environment. Niche are Range of conditions, resource levels, and densities of other species within which an organism or species can survive and reproduce. Niche related to the behavior of a species living under specific environmental conditions
• Fundamental Niche. the largest niche in which a species could persist in the absence of adverse interactions with other species(not necessarily overlapping with realized niche - algae associated in lichen have an entirely shifted niche than alone)
• Realized Niche. the (generally smaller) niche volume occupied by a species in the presence of interspecific interactions
Ecology of an individual includes a variable biotic (living organisms such as plants, animals, humans, who do both micro and macro) and abiotic (objects not alive). Niches determine how species respond to the availability of resources and the existence of life on competitors and predators in anecosystem.
